Quality Interactions with Children

Quality interactions are key to children's development and progress. This training is for all EY practitioners and is designed to inspire meaningful communication and conversations with children. This course has a practical twist to bring it to life. There's nothing like trying the activities for real!

The aims of the course are:

• To recognise different forms of communication.

• To discuss theories of attachment and communication.

• To be able to use effective communication.

• To improve child/adult interactions and promote progress.

Our interactions with the children we meet are key to their progress in all areas, from their emotional well being, to learning the foundations of maths. We are important people! We may be the child's first carers apart from their parents. We can shape the way they approach life and spark their desire to learn. It's important that we get it right!
