#Early Years Talking

I’m so flattered to have been asked to take over the twitter handle @EYTalking from the amazing Laura Henry. Laura introduced me to Twitter a few years back and @EYTalking was the first thing I followed. It didn’t take me too long to get the hang of Twitter and connect with some amazing Early Years Professionals who have supported and inspired me.
For those of you who don’t know me my history of Childcare spans over a very long time! I was a paediatric nurse which has been an invaluable experience working in Early Years adding another dimension to understanding children. I own two Early Years settings which I am so proud of and have been so lucky with the staff who have come my way.
In a world that is going slightly strange at the moment it has never been so important to connect with the Early Years community. While I have wobbled over re-opening I know who my go to people are for a calming approach. I’m relieved Laura Henry @IamLauraHenry will still be tweeting. My mantra has always been surround yourself with good people and I have to say that’s worked for me.
