Working with Families

If you don’t like working with families, it’s very hard to be effective working with children! I’m not saying I always get it right with my families, but it’s not through lack of trying, or wanting the best for their children.

Families are a recurrent theme in my blogs. Working together with families is a privilege, we get a unique insight into the child’s life. We are there to support, share information, comfort them when sad, celebrate happy family events, we are incredibly lucky to join in their family life. This is why I was very excited to be asked to do a podcast for Wendy Baker on working with families in the early years. Have a listen:
